Relay emergency valves are installed on the towed vehicle. It controls trailer braking when coupled. This valve guarantees that the trailer tanks are filled from the supply line (red), that the trailer brakes are applied when the control line (yellow) is pressurised and that emergency braking is applied in the event of a red line rupture. The ‘predominance’ device harmonizes the braking of the towing vehicle and the trailer.
